I have selected Vesa 1.2 800 x 600 on Kolibri 0.6.5.0 and it say: Fatal - Videomode not found
The same setting in Menuet32 0.84 work fine.

PS: You can't expect that many non Russian user will post here since the registration of the forum is in Russian.

Could you please try to select "scan for other modes" when you select video mode in [a] section? This could help. If it doesn't, we'll look into problem deeply.

EDIT: sorry, my bad. for 1.2 VESA version, this option isn't available. I'll take a look when I'm at home if someone won't pass ahead me. Thanks for the report BTW

As I understand, in kolibri for vesa 1.2 32 bit modes unavailiable (it is only for vesa 2.0 with LFB). Kernel try to set 24 bit mode, but this one is not supported by ale5000's videocard :-\ In gfx-kernel all vesa modes supports, so mike.dld should be faster with it
